Lenses
Lenses and some words about some of them.
What I have:
- Canon EF 8-15mm f/4L USM Fisheye — Fisheye zoom. One of the most expensive lenses per photo you’ll take. You probably don’t need one of these.

- Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM — My recommended kit lens on a full frame. One stop slower than the 24-70mm f/2.8, but with added IS and slightly smaller and cheaper.

- Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM — A beautiful 35mm prime with IS. The most hand-holdable lens you can find.

- Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM Pancake — Cheap, small, sharp, relatively fast. A great prime. Faster AF, smaller and sharper than the 50mm, but two stops slower.

- Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM — A great all-round prime. Great on a crop sensor, fantastic on a full frame.

- Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM — This is one incredibly loose lens. Relatively slow focussing. Beautiful. The ultimate portrait lens.

- Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro — One of the most fun lenses around. Both a 1:1 macro AND a crazy sharp portrait lens.

- Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM — Crazy sharp for a zoom. Lightweight. Doesn’t extend or rotate. A very nice telephoto lens.

Other lenses:
