I’m Sam aka ‘void’ — a 36 year old dad (he/him) from Brisbane, Australia.

As a jack of many trades I love to whole-arse something new every year:

• I’m married with a toddler and a newborn!
• I enjoy doing things with my hands; I sketch with fountain pens, I wire up smart home arduino sensors, I garden badly and I enjoy assembling furniture.
• I love cooking and creating cocktails, and like to keep a well stocked home bar. Savoury main meals and short classic IBA cocktails are my forté.
• Art pleases me; I’m handy with a camera, digital art on an iPad and traditional sketching. I love fonts and good design.
• I enjoy household logistics and like to keep a well organised life. I do most of the laundry/cleaning/shopping in the household and like to stay on top of it all.
• My career has gone from ten years in software engineering to engineering management over the last few years and my five year career goal is CIO. I thoroughly enjoy mentoring, especially in the field of software.
• I’m very opinionated about things I love.
